Anne Marie Duff

Anne-Marie Duff (born in England) is an English actress and narration. Duff began her television career at the end of 1990s, after she graduated from Drama Centre London. She was on the show Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress born on 08 October 1970, in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff (born 8 October 1970) is an English screen and stage actress. The actress became well-known for her character Fiona Gallagher in the first two seasons UK television series Shameless. She then played Queen Elizabeth I on the television series The Virgin Queen (2006) and also the lead role in the show From Darkness in 2015. Duff's filmography is comprised of Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters The Magdalene Sisters (2001), Notes on Scandal (2006) French Film (2007) The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I go to Sleep in 2014, and Suffragette 2015. The actress was nominated for BAFTA awards for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress as well as Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to that she received the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for her performance in the television film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff has been a highly successful and award-winning English actor who created her own mark on stages, on radio and in television. Her roles as a character in Shameless (a British comedy-drama TV series) as well as The Virgin Queen, a television miniseries about Queen Elizabeth I, earned her widespread notoriety. Anne-Marie has also evolved as an outstanding theatre actor who has more than two decades of on-stage performances that include extensive work with her theatre company, the Royal National Theatre.
